What kind of apps do you need to run a beauty business?

Well... Here are mine.

Though each year I find new ones to help me in my journey.

Canva

Firstly, Canva would be my top choice app for my business. Canva is great because it offers an intuitive and user-friendly platform for DESIGNING GRAPHICS, with a vast library of templates, images, and fonts. It also allows for easy collaboration with others and has a variety of tools and features for creating professional-looking designs. I mostly use Canva to create my social media posts, it has a great feature to resize for all platforms. I am able to upload all of my custom logo designs, fonts, and colours so that I can create posts on brand. Canva is really an app I can't live without.

Beatleap

Beatleap is truly in my apps I can't live without. The Beatleap app is a popular music video-making app that allows users to easily create or find unique beats and sounds for their videos. It has a user-friendly interface and a wide range of features that make it a great tool for video production. I learned to take small 2-10 second video clips for content a few years back, you are then able to slice them together, add music and special effects to make a great music video. Taking content wherever you go is definitely key to this one!

Facetune

Facetune is a popular editing app that offers a variety of tools to enhance portraits or live videos. I find the app amazing because it allows me to quickly and easily make adjustments to my photos or videos, such as smoothing out skin or add a little contour. It’s especially helpful when I’m having a lazy day or not in the mood to put on makeup. However, it's important to remember that relying too heavily on photo editing apps can promote unrealistic beauty standards and contribute to negative body image. This app is great for any business that requires constant content.

Teleprompter

Next, the app that is very useful in my business is Teleprompter. The teleprompter app is helpful for people who need to deliver speeches or presentations as it allows them to read their script while maintaining eye contact with their audience. Additionally, it can also help improve the pace and flow of the presentation. Whenever I need to record a video that requires lots of small detail or complicated vocabulary it is helpful to have the script on my screen. Incredibly useful!

Gmail

Gmail is an app I can’t live without. Gmail is great for businesses because it provides a user-friendly interface, easy integration with other Google services, powerful spam filtering, and ample storage space. Additionally, Gmail allows for customizable email addresses that can match a business's domain name, giving a professional appearance to clients and customers. Spotify

I use Spotify daily. Spotify is spectacular for business use because it offers a wide variety of music genres, playlists, and podcasts that can enhance the ambiance and atmosphere of a business. Additionally, it allows businesses to easily curate and control the music played in their establishment, and provides a cost-effective solution for providing background music without the need for licensing agreements. I also use it personally in my vehicle for music (so I can pretend I’m in a music video), during travel I listen to downloaded content, I enjoy listening to podcasts while I’m being productive, and for relaxing sounds to help me fall asleep.

Acuity

The Acuity app is my hub for all things business. Acuity is beneficial for businesses because it helps streamline appointment scheduling, reduces administrative tasks, and improves customer experience. It allows businesses to easily manage their schedules, accept online bookings, and automatically send intake forms and reminders to customers. Additionally, it offers various features such as payment processing and integration with other tools, making it a comprehensive solution for businesses of all sizes. Acuity is a great tool. Mailchimp

An email list is a must have for any business because it's a platform you own. Mailchimp is an all-in-one marketing platform that can help businesses of all sizes to create, send, and analyze marketing campaigns. It offers a user-friendly interface, automation features, and a wide range of integrations with other marketing tools. With Mailchimp, businesses can build and manage their email lists, design beautiful emails, set up automated campaigns, track their performance, and much more. It is also affordable and offers a free plan for small businesses. Mailchimp makes managing email lists easy.

Cricut

Cricut is a great crafting machine and software to help small businesses easily create handouts for their business without a minimum amount required. Cricut is a great tool for creating various types cards and stickers for your business. With its precision cutting and versatile design capabilities, you can easily create unique and professional-looking designs. Just make sure to have a good understanding of design software and materials to ensure the best results. It is also a cost-effective way to try out NEW IDEAS, which I love.

Notes

Notes is an app I can't live without. The notes app can be a useful tool for business purposes. You can create and organize notes for meetings, to-do lists, and ideas. You can also use it to scan and save important documents. Consider using the app's password protection feature to keep sensitive information secure. It is basically like electronic sticky notes. I have an endless running to-do list on this app that I check daily, it helps keep me organized. Wherever I go, I am able to research new ideas and write them down, it is invaluable.

Instagram

I use Instagram daily. Instagram is a great app for businesses because it has a large and engaged user base, with over a billion active monthly users. It also allows businesses to showcase their products or services through VISUALLY APPEALING CONTENT, and provides various features like hashtags, stories, and business profiles to help them reach and engage with their target audience. Additionally, Instagram's advertising platform offers various targeting options and can be a cost-effective way for businesses to reach potential customers. I love Instagram for posting content!

Pinterest

Pinterest is a beautiful app, it is an app that I can’t live without. Pinterest is beneficial for businesses because it allows them to showcase their products or services visually, giving users a better idea of what they offer. This can lead to increased brand awareness, website traffic, and sales. Additionally, Pinterest's search and recommendation features can help businesses reach new audiences and expand their client base. Pinterest increases the number of people who read this blog.

I love using this app to gather my INSPIRATION and create mood boards.

Twitter

I use Twitter to express my thoughts. Twitter is amazing for business because it allows companies to CONNECT with their audience, engage with customers, and promote their brand in real-time. The platform's ability to quickly disseminate information and facilitate conversations makes it a powerful tool for building relationships and driving sales. Additionally, Twitter's vast user base provides businesses with a large and diverse audience to reach. 

It’s a wonderful place to connect.

Tiktok

I love to be creative on TikTok. TikTok is wonderful for business because it has a massive and engaged user base, offers unique opportunities for virality, has a diverse range of content, and allows for creative and authentic brand promotion. Additionally, its algorithm is designed to show users content that is relevant and interesting to them, which means that businesses can reach their target audience more effectively. I love TikToking.

Facebook

I grew up being on Facebook. Facebook is an awesome platform for business because it allows you to reach a large audience and build a strong online presence. With its robust advertising tools, you can target specific demographics, interests, and behaviors to get your message in front of the right people. Additionally, Facebook offers various features like business pages, groups, and events that can help you connect with your audience and build relationships with your customers.
